Poland, Oneonta girls advance to state finals

WKTV - The Poland and Oneonta girls soccer teams both won their state semifinal games Saturday, which means each will play for their respective championship Sunday.

In Class D, Poland beat Jasper-Troupsburg 2-1 at Homer High School.  Mikayla Blumenstock and Paige Sullivan had the goals for the Lady Tornadoes, who advance to the championship game Sunday at 1:00 p.m. from SUNY Cortland.

In Class B, Oneonta beat former thirteen time Class C champ Cold Spring Harbor 1-0 from TC3 in the semis.  The Lady Yellow Jackets will play for the championship Sunday at 10:00 a.m. at SUNY Cortland, on the same field Poland will be playing on.
