Sauquoit girls soccer preps for Elmira Notre Dame

SAUQUOIT, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Sauquoit lady Indians are not only unbeaten at 19-0, they are now ranked number one in the state in Class C. Their next task is to face Elmira Notre Dame in the Class C regional final at Ithaca high school on Saturday at 1pm.

The lady Indians are a team always prepared and ready for any challenge. They can blow out an opponent and win the close one. Their section final last week was scoreless until midway through the second half.  Once they do score a goal, watch out , it could open the flood gates.

In Saturday's regional final, they have a serious challenge against Elmira Notre Dame, whos is ranked second in the state. Tim Clive is a wiley veteran coach and knows not only the x's and o's of the game, he knows the in's and out's of his team. From the last girl on the bench to the captain, this group is solid both on and off the field.
