SAUQUOIT VALLEY, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Sauquoit Valley lady Indians are a team on a mission. "They have not completed that mission yet." says head coach Tim Clive. That mission of course is to win a state title.

At 21-0, the lady Indians face Frewsburg on Friday at 9am in the Class C state semifinal at Homer high school. Sauquoit has won in just about every way possible. Last weekend they came back from a 1-0 deficit to score five second half goals en route to a 5-3 win over Elmira Notre Dame. They've blown teams out too, just ask Tully, a team they beat 8-0 to win the Class C-1 section title.

Its a team that gets along both on and off the field. They've been playing together since grade school. Led by a strong group of seniors and solid underclassmen, the lady Indians have six to seven legitimate goal scorers. That, as many teams will tell you, is nearly impossible to defend.

If Sauquoit beats Frewsburg they will face the winner of Stony Brook and Seton Catholic on Saturday at 9am at SUNY Cortland.
