Sauquoit Valley downs Frewsburg 1-0

HOMER, N.Y. (WKTV) -  The Sauquoit girls soccer team is one step closer to a state title. On Friday, they beat Frewsburg in the Class C State Semifinals 1-0.

Kelsey Hogel scored with 3 minutes and 17 seconds left in the game on an assist from Sierra Kiss for the only goal of the game. Vanessa Jecko had five saves in the shutout. At 22-0, they play for a state title on Saturday at 9am versus Stony Brook at SUNY Cortland.
