New Hartford blanks Clinton in softball action

WASHINGTON MILLS, N.Y. (WKTV) - The New Hartford Lady Spartans took care of business on the home field beating Clinton 5-0 in a Tri-Valley League matchup on Monday.

They got the job done with a great pitching performance by Bianca Pavia. She pitched a gem going all seven innings, striking out 12 batters and gave up just one hit. She has some offensive help from Danielle Witchley who had three doubles. New Hartford improves to 10-6 overall, 10-2 in the league. They have two more league games this week: at Camden tomorrow and home against Notre Dame on Thursday. Clinton drops to 4-9 overall with the loss.
