NY Mills softball hangs on to beat McGraw 4-3

NEW YORK MILLS, N.Y. (WKTV) - Carly Dziekan provided the offensive spark and pitcher Corrin Flihan held off a late McGraw rally as the NY Mills Lady Marauders won 4-3. They advance to play Hamilton in semifinals on June 2nd.

Dziekan started the scoring for the Marauders with a solo home run in the first inning. Flihan was able to work out of a couple of jams in the middle innings. She finished with 12 strikeouts on the day. Dziekan also had an RBI double in the fifth and two runs scored.

The game will be the first meeting between the two schools in two years.
