H.S. Softball: Adirondack falls in regionals

CICERO, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Adirondack softball team had lost just one game all year, until Tuesday's Class B regionals, when the Wilcats fell 3-0 to Windsor, from Section IV. Kelly Costello hit a solo home run and Windsor got two other runs on passed balls.
Rachel Hitt pitched a great game for the Wildcats (20-2), striking out seven, nearly equaling her opposite number for Windsor, Leslie Dempsey, who had eight.
Adirondack won the Section III Class B title Saturday, with a 9-4 win over Solvay.
