Camden Rolls Over J-D, Sets Up Rematch With Whitesboro

CAMDEN, NY (WKTV) - The Camden Blue Devils continue to impress this fall. After nailing down the two seed in the final week of the regular season, they beat first round opponent Jamesville-DeWitt 42-6 on Friday night. The Class A quarterfinal win sets up a rematch with the Whitesboro Warriors, who beat Cortland 21-0.

Camden got the scoring started in the first quarter on a DJ Forbragd nine yard touchdown to make it 6-0 Blue Devils. Camden then exploded in the second quarter scoring 29 unanswered points. Forbragd scored three touchdowns on just 48 yards rushing. Holden Coon, Jack Keil and Angelo Gonzalez also scored for Camden.

The win sets up a tremendous semifinal matchup between the Blue Devils and Warriors. It was Camden that beat Whitesboro 35-21 in the final game of the regular season. Semis are at a site and date to be determined.
