Mills wins despite offensive woes

NEW YORK MILLS, N.Y. (WKTV) - The New York Mills girls basketball team defeated Canastota 33-21 Saturday, in a game that featured great defense, but not a lot of offense.  Marauders star Erica Pendrak had just nine points, as most of the players fought off rust from a long layoff, after Regent exams this week.

Freshman Dominique Talerico led all scorers with 12 points as the Lady Marauders improved to 9-3 on the season.

Mills will next be in action Thursday, when they host Remsen.
