Whitesboro Eliminates Clinton From Post Season Play

CLINTON, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Whitesboro Warriors have ended Clinton's run in the playoffs. The road Warriors beat them 5-0. This will be the first year in Clinton hockey history that they are not in the post season..

Whitesboro started the scoring in the first period as Chris Flynn beat Devin Grabski for the 1-0 lead. A short time later, Mike Towne scored one of his two goals on the night to increase the lead to 2-0. Joe Longo added another in the first to make it 3-0 before Clinton knew what hit them. One goal in the second and one in the third was more than enough for Whitesboro.

Whitesboro improves to 10-12-1 overall, 7-6 in the league. They clinch the final playoff spot. Clinton drops to 4-8-1 in the league, 6-13-3 overall.
