Clinton Boys Upset Whitesboro 63-59

CLINTON, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Clinton Warriors upset the Whitesboro Warriors 63-59 on Friday night. As a result, Whitesboro fell out of a tie for first place in the TVL east as Notre Dame beat Holland Patent 82-41.

It was a tight game in the first half  as Whitesboro had a 24-20 lead at the break. However, Clinton outscored them 24-9 in the third and would hold off a late Whitesboro rally to win.

James Jarrettt led Clinton with 20 points was Rich Maxam and Zach Glindmyer each scored 11. Junior Woodard had 21 points for Whitesboro who dropped to 13-5 overall. Clinton improve to 8-10.
