Cazenovia Tops Clinton 49-34, Wins B Title

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Defense has been the key for Clinton all season long. It was defense that did them in. Cazenovia smothered Clinton in the third quarter enroute to the 49-34 Class B final win on Saturday.

With Clinton trailing by just five points at the half, the Lady Lakers went on a 13-0 run. The run was part of a 22-6 third quarter for Cazenovia. Clinton could not recover.

Kiley Evans led all scorers with 21 points and 13 rebounds. Evans is headed to Division I Sacred Heart next fall.

Captain Lauren Conway led Clinton with 14 points. The Lady Warriors finish the season 19-5.
