Whitesboro boys top Clinton

CLINTON, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Whitesboro Warriors capitalized on a big second quarter to beat Clinton 70-58 on Friday night.

With 6-9 senior Jonathan Antonsson on the bench with two fouls, Whitesboro capitalized outscoring Clinton 14-5 in the quarter. That turned out to be the difference in the game. Whitesboro was led by Ryan Watson's 17 points with Chris Gibbs and Mike Sullivan each pouring in 13.

Clinton was led by Antonsson's 19 points. Steve Bankert added 17. Clinton drops to 2-3 overall, 1-2 in the league. Whitesboro is now 3-1 overall and 3-1 in the league.
