Lady Warriors use 2nd quarter run to beat NH

NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Clinton girls basketball team, trailing 10-9 to New Hartford at the end of the first quarter Tuesday night, went on a 19-5 run in the second to win 61-40.  Kate Thompson led the way with 27 points for the the Lady Warriors, who improved to 8-1 in the Tri-Valley League and 11-2 overall. 

Kate Griffiths added 11 points for Clinton, who leads the TVL West Division.  Ashley Chanatry led New Hartford (5-5 TVL, 9-5 overall) with 12 points.

The Lady Warriors will host Whitesboro on Friday, while New Hartford visits Notre Dame.
