RFA gets big win on the home ice

ROME, N.Y. (WKTV) - The RFA hockey team won a big game on Friday night, beating Clinton 4-1, tying them with New Hartford for first place, at least for now.  The Spartans host Whitesboro on Saturday night, and even a tie would give them the top spot again.  RFA's next game is Tuesday at Westmoreland.

In the Black Knights victory over the Warriors, Garrett Reilley had two goals as RFA improved to 10-5-2 on the season, and they have 17 points in Division Two East.  With Hamilton's victory over Proctor, Clinton finds themselves on the outside looking in of the playoff race.  The Warriors will host third place Cazenovia Tuesday with a chance to get back in the hunt.
