Clinton tops CBA in league play


CLINTON, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Clinton hockey team defeated CBA 4-2 Tuesday night at the Clinton Arena.  Connor Elsenbeck had a pair of goals to lead the Warriors (15-4, 12-3 DII).

Clinton took a 1-0 lead after the first period, then Elsenbeck scored just 15 seconds into the second, on a deflection off the CBA goalie.  Later in the period, Mike Barnett scored to give the Warriors a 3-0 lead.

Will Blazer and Luke Lauchert each had two assists for Clinton.  The Warriors are in second place in the league, with just one regular season game left, Saturday night at New Hartford.
