Cooperstown headed to the Aud after win over IHC

ROME, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Cooperstown Redskins showed why they are the number one seed in Class C-1 with a 65-57 win over Watertown IHC on Wednesday night.

Mike Moakler led all scorers with 22 points while Harrison Clinton and Jeff Flynn added 12 and 10 respectively. The key to the win was the Redskins defense on Connor Caldwell. They held the IHC star to 17 points, well off his average of 34.

Cooperstown led by 15 at the half thanks to a 23-10 second quarter. They now move on to face Syracuse-IT on Saturday at 12:45 p.m. at the Aud in the Class C-1 final.
