Cooperstown takes title at Dome


SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WKTV) - A year after falling in the Section III Class C final, the Cooperstown boys basketball team beat Beaver River, 72-58.  The win gives the Redskins their first section title since 2005.

Jeff Flynn had a huge day, scoring 20 points for Cooperstown, while Jay Davine added six assists to his school record.  Davine also scored 13 points.

The Redskins now advance to the regionals, Saturday at LeMoyne College.
