LITTLE FALLS, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Dolgeville Blue Devils scored two touchdowns in the fourth quarter on opening night of the 2012 season to beat rival Little Falls 20-13. Austin LaVeck and Devin Coonradt both scored for the Blue Devils in that final quarter.
Dolgeville took an early 6-0 lead on a first quarter touchdown run by LaVeck, but the Mounties went ahead on a 26 yard TD pass from Mike Battisti to Will Robinson. Battisi then extended the Little Falls lead to 13-6 at halftime, on a 12 yard TD run.
Little Falls brought in special lights for this matchup, as neither team usually plays on Friday night.
The Mounties will go to Frankfort-Schuyler next Friday night, while the Blue Devils host Mohawk in their home opener next Saturday.
