DOLGEVILLE, N.Y. (WKTV) - It was alot closer than in recent years but it still came out the same. Dolgeville beat rival West Canada 29-8 on Saturday.

The Blue Devils only had an 8-0 lead at halftime thanks to a Mike Barnes touchdown pass to Cody Petras and a safety. In fact, the Indians tied the game in the third quarter on a Patrick Edwards one yard touchdown run and a Sabastain Torres two point conversion.

However on the ensuing kickoff,  Ray Ruggerio took the bouncing kick 70 yards in for a touchdown and the Blue Devils never looked back. Mike Barnes rushed for 144 yards and two second half touchdowns.  Dolgeville is now 2-0 in the league and 4-0 overall. West Canada drops to 1-1 in the league and 2-2 overall.
