Frankfort Uses Strong Second Half to Down Canastota

FRANKFORT, NY (WKTV) - The Frankfort-Schuyler Maroon Knights got the 2008 season started right beating Canastota 14-0 on Friday night. After not being able to capitalize on first half opportunities, the Knights found the endzone twice in the second half. Ron Gatto had a great night under center. He was 10-19 for 202 yards including a 48 yard touchdown pass to Dylan Todd. Jordan Lintz was the workhorse in the backfield rushing for 124 yards on 23 carries and a touchdown. Frankfort improves to 1-0 and will host Little Falls next Friday night at 7pm.
