West Canada holds on to beat Frankfort

NEWPORT, N.Y. (WKTV) - The West Canada Valley Indians held on to beat Frankfort-Schuyler 13-11 on Monday in a CSC non-league game.  The Indians scored 10 of their 13 runs in the bottom of the first, but nearly blew it in the 7th, when Frankfort scored five runs to pull within two.

Alex Maxwell hit a two run home run to cap off the big first inning for West Canada.  Maxwell had a pair of hits and three RBI in the game, while Nathan George added a pair of hits and knocked in two runs.

West Canada improved to 2-2 with the victory.
