ILION, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Frankfort-Schuyler Maroon Knights got a game winning free throw from Mike Tomaino to beat Ilion 58-57 on Friday night.
The Knights led by six after one and by 8 at the break. Ilion would finally retake the lead late in the game only to lose with four seconds to go.
Derek Sbiroli scored 17 points to lead Frankfort. Carl DeRollo chipped in 11 points as Frankfort improved to 2-1. Ilion was led by Hershel Ivey's 13 points. The Bombers are also 2-1.
