ORISKANY, N.Y. (WKTV) - It will be Oriskany and NY Mills squaring off once again in the finals of Oriskany's holiday tournament, after both won in the first round Friday. The host Redskins beat Frankfort-Schuyler 57-39, while Mills edged Mohawk 34-31.
Oriskany was led by Jordan Sahl, who scored 23 points and added eight rebounds. Christina Graziadei scored 18 points and grabbed ten rebounds. Danielle Migliore continued a fantastic freshman season for the Lady Maroon Knights, scoring 21 points.
In the first varsity game of the day, the Lady Marauders were forced to play without one of their leaders, Dom Talerico, who was under the weather and couldn't play. Mikah Inkawich led all scorers, with 11 points for Mills.
The championship is slated to begin at 7:15 Saturday night.
