By By BRIAN SANDLER

ORISKANY, N.Y. (WKTV) - Sophomore Mike Bunal rushed for all three of Oriskany's touchdowns and had a key second-half interception on defense as the Redskins held off Hamilton on Saturday 21-12.

After Hamilton went up 6-0 in the first quarter on a 21-yard touchdown run by quarterback Coley Graham, Oriskany answered with a 7-yard TD run by Bunal and added a 2-point conversion for an 8-6 lead.  Hamilton re-took the lead 12-8 in the second quarter on a 4-yard scoring run by Cameron Fisher, but Oriskany answered right away again with a 1-yard Bunal score to go up 14-12 at the half.

In the third quarter, Hamilton drove to the Oriskany 13-yard line and was poised to re-take the lead again, but a touchdown pass was called back by a holding penalty and Bunal ended the drive with an interception to keep Oriskany ahead.  The Redskins sealed the game midway through the fourth on a 4-yard TD run by Bunal, who then kicked the extra point to make it a two-score game.

Bunal finished with 78 yards on 12 carries and Travis Tyler added 74 yards on 14 carries.

Oriskany is now 2-1 both in Class D South and overall while Hamilton drops to 0-2 (1-2).
