Bulldogs take a bite out of the Knights

HAMILTON, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Westmoreland Bulldogs dominated Hamilton winning 50-0 on Friday night. Former NEWSChannel 2 Athlete of the Week Justin Becker turned in another great performance rushing for 89 yards and four touchdowns in the win.

The Bulldogs came out strong scoring 27 points in the first quarter starting off with a 71 yard run by Christian DeRoche. Becker scored twice on runs of 24 and six yards. Travis Rogers added a one yard score and the route was on before the second quarter began.

Rogers added another score before Becker ran for his second set of touchdowns in the second quarter. With the win, the Bulldogs improve to 5-0 overall, 4-0 in the league. They are ranked number one in the state in Class D.
