UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - In a stunning upset, the Hamilton girls basketball team beat Class D #1 seed NY Mills 40-30 in the Section III Final Saturday at the Utica Memorial Auditorium. Jordan Peterson had 19 points and 16 rebounds for the Emerald Knights, who avenged two earlier losses this season to the Lady Marauders.
Hamilton advances to the regionals to meet the Section IV champion on Saturday.
