Westmoreland Remains Unbeaten With The 26-6 Win Over HerkimerHERKIMER, NY (WKTV) - The Westmoreland Bulldogs continue to roll beating Herkimer 26-6 on Friday night improving to 5-0. The Bulldogs got off to the early lead thanks to a nice touchdown pass from Dan Smith to TJ Losowski to make it 6-0. Later in the first quarter Justin Becker made it 12-0 on a five yard touchdown run and the Bulldogs took that 12-0 lead into halftime. In the third quarter, Westmoreland would add to that lead as Smith and Losowski hooked up again, this time a 12 yard score making it 18-0. Herkimer would get on the board in the 4th quarter on a two yard Mike Fahy run to make it 18-6. However, late in the 4th, Kyle Eisnor put the cherry on top with a touchdown run of his own. With the loss, Herkimer drops to 3-2. Losowski finished with the two scores on 126 yards receiving. Dan Smith was 6-10, 135 yards passing. Most Popular |
