Mohawk Girls Down Herkimer

MOHAWK, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Mohawk Lady Mohicans remained unbeaten on the season with the 54-44 win over division rival Herkimer on Monday night.

Brittney Harvey led all scorers with 18 points and 12 rebounds on the night. Karlee Platts chipped in 11 points for the Mohicans who are now 2-0 overall 1-0 in the league. Herkimer was led by Katelyn Staring and Nicole Cirelli who had 10 points each. Mohawk led after the first and second quarters but were outscored 22-10 in the third. However they were able to hang on to win handing the Lady Magicians their fourth loss in as many tries.
