Herkimer Clinches Division Title With Win Over Mohawk

MOHAWK, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Herkimer Magicians had already clinched at least a tie for the CSC Division I title. On Monday, the won it outright with the 51-43 victory over Mohawk.

It was a back and forth game all the way but Herkimer led after every quarter. Jeff Mlinar led all scorers with 19 points while JJ Crandall chipped in 14 points. Mohawk was led by John LeClair's 17 points while Jim Traglia added 14 points on senior night.

Mohawk drops to 10-10 while Herkimer improves to 9-9. They are now 9-2 in the league and will face Adirondack in the regular season finale on Thursday.
