H.S. Football:Crandall lifts Herkimer over Adirondack

HERKIMER, N.Y. (WKTV) - Sean Crandall had a career day as the Herkimer QB rushed for 225 yards and four touchdowns, while adding 170 yards and two more scores through the air Friday night as the Magicians beat Adirondack 55-30.  The win improved Herkimer to 3-1 in Class C East, which guarantees the Magicians a second place standing after Saturday's Ilion-Notre Dame/Rome Catholic game.

Herkimer will close out the regular season against the Jugglers next Friday night.

The Magicians rebounded from a 30-20 halftime deficit to hold the Wildcats scoreless in the second half.  Ryan Fahy had 11 tackles and a sack to anchor the Magicians defense.
