HERKIMER, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Herkimer Magicians finished their regular season with a 33-16 win over Frankfort-Schuyler. They now have a bye week before the playoffs begin on October 21st.
The Maroon Knights got on the board with a one yard touchdown plunge by John Gatto. The two pointer gave them an 8-0 lead. However, Herkimer would then score 33 straight. Sean Crandall rushed for 215 yards and three touchdowns. He also took an interception back 92 yards for a score which pretty much seal the deal at the time.
Frankfort dropped to 4-2 on the season, 1-2 in the division. They host Adirondack next on October 14th.
