HERKIMER, N.Y. (WKTV) - Fifth seeded Sauquoit beat top seed Herkimer 1-0 in the Class C-1 semifinal on Saturday.
Shania Taylor pitched a gem, striking out five in a three hit shutout against the Magicians, who left 9 on base. Jenna Mazza had the only RBI in the top of the second that scored Nicole Burline.
Sauquoit will now face Bishop Ludden on Wedensday at CNS at Gillette Road Field #3 in the Class C-1 Final. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
