Clinton boys hoops hangs tough vs HP

CLINTON, N.Y. (WKTV) - In a close and physical battle, the Clinton boys basketball team beat Holland Patent 63-59 Friday night.  The Warriors came back from an early deficit to take a 13-10 lead after the first quarter.  The Golden Knights tied the score at 30 at halftime, then took a 7 point lead after three before the Warriors rolled in the fourth.

Jonathan Antonson led Clinton with 24 points, while Holland Patent got huge contributions from Alex Smith (24 points) and Craig Schmadel (23 points).

The Warriors improved to 3-4 on the season, while the Golden Knights fell to 2-6.
