H.S. Football: Herkimer rolls on HP in opener

HOLLAND PATENT, N.Y. (WKTV) - The defending Section III Class C champion Herkimer football team opened its 2012 season with a 53-13 win at Holland Patent. Austin Mills and Matt Borek each rushed for three touchdowns apiece for the Magicians.
Mills finished with 102 yards rushing, while Borek totalled 96.
Herkimer's next opponent is rival Ilion Friday night, likely the last time the two will face each other, with both schools and Mohawk set to combine.
