ILION, N.Y. (WKTV) - For three and a half quarters, Ilion gave Little Falls a run for their money. However turnovers and stingey defense got the better of the Lady Golden Bombers as the Lady Mounties went on to win 65-41.

Sara Helmer led the way with 20 points while Sue Schoff chipped in 16. The key was a 24-2 run starting with about 3:30 left in the fourth quarter. It was just after Ilion had finally taken a two point lead.

Ilion was led by Christina Wright's 10 points. They fall to 8-10 overall, 4-6 in the division. Little Falls is now 15-3, 8-3 in the division.
