Little Falls Girls Take Down Tully In C-1 Semis

By By BRIAN SANDLER

CLINTON, N.Y. (WKTV) - The top-seeded Little Falls girls basketball team is headed back to the sectional championship round after taking down No. 4 Tully 58-38 in the Section III, Class C-1 semifinals Saturday at Clinton.

The game was close in the first half with Little Falls only leading 28-21 at halftime, but a big second half boosted the Lady Mounties to an easy victory.

Little Falls, now 19-3, will play a championship rematch with Cooperstown in the C-1 final Wednesday at RFA at 7:45.  Cooperstown defeated Little Falls in a battle of undefeated teams in last year's championship 53-51, also at RFA, and while Little Falls is again the top-seeded team in the bracket, the Lady Redskins are riding an upset run this time as a No. 6 seed.

Sue Schoff led Little falls with 25 points and 16 rebounds while Olivia Tooley scored 14 points and Katie Cotton grabbed 11 rebounds.

Tully, which finishes with a 14-8 record, was led by Shacarah Henry's nine points.
