LITTLE FALLS, N.Y. (WKTV) - Despite graduating a great running back after each of the past two seasons, Adirondack showed it has another one ready to step up as Andre Adkins led the Wildcats to a 40-6 season-opening win at Little Falls on Saturday.
With Cody Hitt leaving two years ago and Scott Dunlap leaving last year, Adkins ran for a 65-yard touchdown in the first quarter and a 37-yard score in the second to give the Wildcats a 24-0 lead.
The teams were league rivals in Class C East last year but are not this year as Adirondack was moved to C North and Little Falls dropped down to Class D.
