LITTLE FALLS, N.Y. (WKTV) - Ilion is one of the favorites in the Class C East, and in their opening game Saturday, they showed why, beating Little Falls 44-6.  Jon Treen paced the Golden Bombers to victory, gaining 186 yards on the ground, and scoring a pair of touchdowns.

Shea Murphy also aided Ilion's cause, scoring a pair of touchdowns, one rushing and another receiving.  QB Kris Klosner completed five of his six passes, for 83 yards and a pair of touchdowns.  Connor Morris had three receptions for 65 yards and a score.

The Golden Bombers scored three of the game's first four touchdowns, leading it 22-6 at the half.

While their offense was held in check all game, the Little Falls special teams provided some very interesting moments, specifically on their kick returning.  The Mounties even scored their lone touchdown on a kick return.
