WEST WINFIELD, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Mt. Markham Mustangs handed Hamilton their first loss of the season with a 1-0 win on Wednesday night.

Both teams play a very fast paced game and were extremely well-matched. After a scoreless first half, the Mustangs broke the ice on a Tyler Curtain goal just over 13 minutes into the second half on an assist from Jake Joseph. Hamilton had their chances with a flurry of shots late in the game but Jared Drymond shut them down with 12 saves.

Hamilton's Kinnon Nolan-Finkel stopped 10 shots as the Emerald Knights drop to 11-1-1. Mt. Markham improves to 10-3.
