New Hartford washes away Watertown

NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - With dozens of player alumni lined up on its sideline, New Hartford put on another show on Friday with a 42-8 wipeout of Watertown (not 48-8 as said in the highlights).

New Hartford, ranked No. 5 in the state in Class A, led 35-0 at halftime and 42-0 after three quarters.  Anthony Acevedo led the charge with four touchdowns, the first on a 5-yard run and the next three on passes of 13, 42 and 19 yards from Vinny Servadio.

The Spartans are now 3-0 in Class A National and 4-0 overall while Watertown drops to 0-3 (1-3).
