Spartans run past Warriors


WHITESBORO, N.Y. (WKTV) - The New Hartford Spartans used a 21-2 run over the second and third quarter to go on to beat rival Whitesboro 68-50 on Tuesday.

Derek German led all scorers with 19 points and ten rebounds. Newest Spartan Jordan Henderson added 15 points and six assists. Jordan and his brother Jared played at Waterville last season. The Spartans are 1-0 to start the season.

Mike Bunal scored 12 points and grabbed eight rebounds for the Warriors. Adam Eberley and Luke Moore each scored 10 points for Whitesboro, who dropped to 1-1 with the loss.
