NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - Ashley Chanatry was honored in a pre-game ceremony Friday night, then led the New Hartford girls basketball team with 22 points in a 53-37 win over RFA. Chanatry scored her 1,000th career point in a game in Orlando last week.
On Friday the Lady Spartans took a 30-15 lead at halftime and never looked back, getting 14 points from Amy Evans. McKenzie Guy led RFA with 8 points.
With the win, New Hartford improves to 9-2 on the season, 5-1 in the Tri-Valley League. RFA falls to 2-5 in the league, 5-6 overall.
