Boys Basketball:Spartans move on to the next round

NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - The New Hartford Spartans dominated Indian River 90-49 in the Class A Sectionals on Wednesday night.

Vinny Servadio led all scorers with 19 points, 15 of those game on three pointers. Calvin Floyd added 18 points for the Spartans, who went on a 17-4 run to start the game. New Hartford led by 20 after one and never looked back.

The Spartans advance to host Oneida on Saturday in the quarterfinals. New Hartford won both regular season meetings against the Indians. Saturday's game is part of a boy/girl double header. The Lady Spartans tipoff at 6pm with the boys to follow.
