Notre Dame baseball takes two from RFA

ROME, N.Y. (WKTV) - On a gloomy day at DeLutis Field, Notre Dame's baseball team shined with a sweep of Rome Free Academy, 6-3 and 12-8.

In the first game, Notre Dame led 6-0 after the top of the sixth and held off the Black Knights.

In the second game, each team knocked around the other's starting pitcher early, and each was knocked out by the fourth inning.  Mike King finished 4-for-4 with a triple and 2 RBI for Notre Dame and Mark Cappone went 2-for-4 with a double, triple and RBI for RFA.

Notre Dame is now 3-0 overall while RFA falls to 3-3.
