New Hartford hands Notre Dame their 4th straight loss

NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - The New Hartford Spartans used a big first quarter run to beat Notre Dame 77-66 on Friday night.

The Spartans began the game on a 12-2 run and led 16-5 after the first quarter, 29-18 at the half. In the third quarter, Notre Dame made a run at them getting as close as five points. However, the Spartans held their ground thanks to two key three pointers by Amar Kashmiri. He led New Hartford wirth 17 points. Vin Servadio chipped in 13. The Spartans improve to 9-4, 7-3 in the league.

Notre Dame was led by Pat Moore's 24 points. The Jugglers have lost four straight and drop to 9-5 overall, 8-2 in the Tri-Valley.
