Jugglers hold off Falcons, advance to quarters

By By MIKE LEVIN

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - It wasn't easy, but the Notre Dame boys basketball team is moving on to the Section III quarterfinals, after a 48-46 win over Fowler Tuesday night.  The Jugglers came back from a three point deficit with three minutes to go to win advance to the section quarterfinals on Friday, hosting Watertown.

There was also a scary moment for Juggler fans in the second quarter, when senior Pat Moore, the school's all-time leading scorer, went down clutching his hand, a la Wes Johnson of Syracuse a few weeks ago against Georgetown.  But the Colgate-bound Moore came back and led the way for the Jugglers, scoring 24 points in the win.
