Kiesel leads Radiers to Juggler Classic title

By MIKE LEVIN

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Proctor's Brianna Kiesel submitted another stellar performance at Notre Dame's annual Juggler Classic at SUNYIT, as the Pittsburgh bound Kiesel scored 34 points in the Raiders' 68-44 victory in the title game over the host Jugglers.  Kiesel, who scored 40 points in Saturday's first round against Liverpool, was named the tournament MVP.

Freshman Emily Durr scored 23 points for the Jugglers, who jumped out to an early 13-2 lead, but couldn't maintain the pace.

Kiesel scored the Raiders first two field goals with less than twenty seconds left in the first quarter, cutting the lead to 15-8 after the first eight minutes.

By the end of the half, Proctor was in front, leading 31-28.  Cara Mootz hits a pair of three pointers for the Raiders, including the one that put them on top near the end of the second quarter.

With the win, Proctor improved to 8-2 on the season, while Notre Dame fell to 6-2.
