Warriors roll thanks to third quarter run


UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Whitesboro boys basketball team used a 20-7 third quarter run to break away from Notre Dame, winning 61-48 Friday night.  Mike Sullivan scored 18 points for the Warriors, while Ryan Watson added 18.

The Jugglers jumped out to a 9-0 lead, but couldn't keep that pace as the Warriors rebounded to pull even at 28 going into halftime.  Notre Dame was led by Mike Gaglianese's 14 points.

Whitesboro improved to 13-3 overall, 10-2 in the TVL, while Notre Dame dropped to 7-9 overall, 6-6 in the league.
