Mills spikes B-H for quarterfinal win

NEW YORK MILLS, N.Y. (WKTV) - The New York Mills girls volleyball team won its first matchup of the postseason, topping Belleville-Henderson 3-1 in the quarterfinals.  Alyssa Nicotera led the Lady Marauders with 21 kills, 8 aces and 8 digs.  Kayla Robles added 9 kills while Kayla Brittell added 15 assists.

Mills, the #3 seed in the Section III Class D tournament, led the first set 20-16, but surrendered nine straight points to fall 25-20.  The Marauders wouldn't lose again, taking three straight sets, 25-20, 24-17 and 25-19.

The Marauders advance to the semifinals, where they'll face #2 seeded DeRuyter.
